Even though I opted for black on mine I still think they lose the detail so I’m going for C) dark charcoal grey

Snags with black wheels is that every single tiny scratch and nick let alone kerb rash shows really clearly and looks awful.
I have seen people using these new wheel rim protector strips which might help I guess

With dark blue paint I'd keep the wheels silver!

So, graphite wheels, mirrors and indicators. Yes mmmmm! black and yellow always works, wasps know this. Not like white and black too stark. But white and graphite looks softer and more sophisticated.lmo.

Quoting myself here as I’ve had a complete change of opinion on this, I think black wheels can actually look great on a black car now, or a brightly coloured or light/white car. They don’t look anywhere near as good in photo’s as in real life though.

I’m not so sure of black against other dark colours though, like dark blue / dark grey.

No kerbing, the clear coat over the machined outer face was starting to deteriorate, i had a go at dressing it up but made things 100 times worse
I’ll save the kerb damage for after they’ve been painted

That seems to be the issue with ‘cut’ wheels the lacquer lifts at the edges?
