I like the idea of black with either Blue or M color stitching. I have the same exterior and interior colors on my Z! Nice choice.

I vote M Stitching. Looks quite subtle with the black wheel.

Not an E89, but here's my Royals wheel in an M coupe. I went black Alcantara, M stitching, and a black centre stripe.

Realizing options will vary, what sorta prices are we looking at with Royal? Just order of magnitude. I imagine its not cheap, looks like quality work.

I'll most likely go for the same config as you ZedBaron. Looks great! I've toyed briefly with the idea of a flat bottom and / or the "M" tricolour at the top but keep coming back to the simpler & arguably more elegant options. Looks like you added a bit of extra girth?
How long do they take from sending to return?
I have my door panels off pending a (small) audio mod...and waiting for new panel clips to replace the ones that broke so now may be a good time to get this done too.

Oh wow, Colin_E, that's incredibly reasonable. Thanks for sharing. I was expecting to hear back like $500 or something insane (guess Im just getting conditioned to BMW prices, haha). Personally I think Id like a single Blue tag at top and either the M tricolor stitching or just blue (mine's estoril blue). I think I like the solid top / bottom, perforated sides as well though.

Took about two weeks and yes I got it a mm thicker, I would of liked colour stitching but looking around the cabin all of the other stitching was black. I'd bought a replacement wheel, but if you didn't want to be off the road while its being made Royals offer an exchange option.Colin_E wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 11:05 pmI'll most likely go for the same config as you ZedBaron. As above price wise. Not an E89 but I'm really pleased with the result & more than happy with Royals. They did mine at the end of May & turn around was 2 weeks. I had 3 other quotes & no one else came close to Royals, 2 of them were more than double .Zed Baron wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 9:38 amTook about two weeks and yes I got it a mm thicker, I would of liked colour stitching but looking around the cabin all of the other stitching was black. For your car mr.tourette I'd go with the black stitching .

As a curve-ball... as the wheel has 4 leather sections, how about the left & right (where you actually hold it) in perforated black and the top & bottom sections in the same ivory leather as the rest of the interior?
That really doesn’t help with regards to the stitching though
