Nice one, glad you got it sorted. I’d ditch the rest of the locking bolts and replace with standard. They’re more trouble than they’re worth.

After reading this I decided that I would ditch my locking wheel nuts... guess what? second locking wheel nut same thing happens as happened to you. Luckily I managed to tap the head of the bolt back on and got enough purchase to loosen it. Locking wheel nuts are now in the bin! :evil:

Yes I ditched mine years ago it’s one of the first things I do on a new car as they are a complete waste of time and would not stop anyone from pinching your wheels. This day and age if they go to inconvenience of nicking your wheels they may as well just take the car because it’s probably quicker.
