Hi all,

This is my first post as I've just picked up a 2011 E89 23i M sport Highline.

The car has both front and rear physical PDC sensors but I'm not sure the fronts are active? The reverse beeps as it should but the fronts do nothing. There is also no button in the cockpit to activate them and also noting on the iDrive.

Seems odd that they are there just for 'show'?

Any ideas?

Cheers.

Here you go. I'm led to believe that there should be an activation button next the the roof button. The four active buttons are roof up, roof down and heated seats x2

The PDC sensors look different to mine and are spaced differently too, the activation button on mine is to the left of the roof up button. I’m guessing that yours are after market ? Are the sensors on the rear identical to the front in appearance ?

I'm guessing you are correct. Yours look far more flush and integrated. Yes, the rears are the same.
Shame, but no biggy.

Thanks for the welcome!

Haha. I'm up for the banter. My hobby is watches. Some of those forums can be pretty vicious :D
