It's certainly more acceptable than an M badge on a non-M.

It’s not my choice - but If you like it that’s all that matters

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Lol. Thanks guys.
Yes, I convinced myself with the "It's accurate" line of thought. Might leave on for a while as it's growing on me and looks quite at home in that frame, ... a nice in yer face reminder of the beast under the bonnet too..

Just discovered that BMW had this idea for the Z8, it only had a Z badge in the interior nothing on the boot lid. Shame they didn't follow it through for the Z4s. Oh well at least I rectified that.

Whereabouts in Spain? Did you import? Was it expensive / complicated? Thinking about it myself. Thanks

Hello Punter I am near Malaga fairly close to the airport. Where about are you? Yes I imported the car from the UK since prices for cars here are ridiculous and the specs / mileage of cars abysmal. It was expensive to register onto Spanish plates (money I could have used on mods ) but not really complicated just a bit off running around involved, time consuming and it helps to speak some Spanish.

Hi silverstar. I'm in northern Costa Blanca. When you say expensive- can you say roughly how much. I've had it out here for a month. Roads are amazing and I don't want to take it home!

Hi Punter, my 30i cost me nearly 1000€, if you give it to a gestor you can add around 150 to 200€ on top. I also adjusted the headlights to drive on the right myself too which saved on garage fees, even though the headlights produce a flat beam and BMW UK told me there is no need to do anything the ITV centre here failed it! I see you have the 35i, since it has a higher CO2 rating factor in around 300€ more for the matriculation tax.

Im with mcbutler. My preference is to leave it on the back and let everyone know its a Z4. They aren't very common in Australia, and stand out from the numerous Porsche, Mercedes, Audi and Ladas.

Well they know its a BMW (by the roundel on the back) and they know it's a 3.0L since I've left the side badges on. Otherwise keep them guessing.... it adds mystery LOL
