. It was such a drama (and expense) getting them refurb'd and shipped to NZ that when I traded the E85, I decided to hold onto the 224's and fit them to the E89 to see how they'd look. Quite pleased with the result.

I just had new rear discs and front and rear pads, so ideal time for a caliper colour change.
I bought red paint but in the end went for silver and a little bit of detail work on the front ones
I thought it suited my black car...

For information: Halfords blue caliper paint is nothing like the colour on the tin.
It's almost identical to the blue on the BMW badge
