Tailored luggage

Post by Fireball » Wed Mar 20, 2019 12:01 am

Fed up of trying stuff bags in the boot when I go touring and came across this website.
Does anybody have any experience of the company / product, feedback seems positive on the website. Price seems reasonable for 4 pieces of luggage.

They look good. You would just have to remember not to try and put the roof down if all the bags were in the boot.

The advantage of your proposed set off luggage is that you fill the boot fully with 2 bags below the boot divider and two above..

The disadvantage is that the layout defeats the interlocks so if you put the two bags in above the divider then you can inadvertently try and open the roof and end up with an undefined event ..not sure whether it would jam or sort itself out...

The advantage of the other sets , I have a set of 3 soft bags but they all fit below the divider..is that it’s fool proof...

Remember if you can press the wrong button at the wrong time..you will..

Not my proposed set. I was just pointing out what you have now said in less words. :)

+1  I have a set of these. Excellent quality and it’s surprising how much you can get in them!

As has been said elsewhere, OP, this German kit will take you and your wife away for a week. (That said, there's one member - albeit a bit whiffy - who claims a fortnight.)

The Roadster Bag Kit is the only way to go - yes it’s quite expensive but it will sell easily for a good price when / if you sell the car.
They maximise the boot space for top down motoring and you don’t look like a hill billy when you arrive at the hotel!

We go on the three week Euro trip and manage - we do stay at one place in Germany that lets us use their laundry facilities
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.
