Just ahead of advertising my car I am going to get two wheels refurbished to make the car perfect. I had a thought about doing all four in shadow chrome as an option , the darker colour, has anyone else done this on
Thank you

If you are refurbing to sell I would go for standard as anything else would be your preference and not necessarily anybody elses.

This ^^ Plus I think shadow chrome wheels will look a bit lost on a grey car.philbo909 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 2:01 pmsilver, wheels should always be silverDavidcliff wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2019 8:45 pm Just ahead of advertising my car I am going to get two wheels refurbished to make the car perfect. Why go to the extra expense? I would just concentrate on the two, do they need a full refurb or would you get away with a smart repair?

If its to sell +1 as above. Just get the 2 done and keep them silver.
If its for you then go for it, I have black on mine and wouldn't go back to silver!

Seeing as you will be putting the car up for sale - refurb the wheels to OEM silver.Davidcliff wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2019 8:45 pm Just ahead of advertising my car I am going to get two wheels refurbished to make the car perfect. Stay as is then , I may be able to just have a smart repair yes , albeit it does not seem much less cost than a full refurb. Two of the wheels are new thanks to BMW warranty so two to do to make it consistent .
Getting them done in next week and I will post my advert on here in around 10 days .
Thanks

i am having my newly acquired mv 2's refurbed in a grey powder coated with flecks and i think it will look rather good on steve,
but i agree with all concerned, there is nowt as strange as folk, so silver is favourite to appeal to the masses

This post is morphing into a sales ad - once you decide on a price (soon please) you need to put it up in the buy and sell section. Cheers.
