Are you going to fit a trailer board? I take my wheels off and put them in the boot to ensure my brake lights aren't obscured. Suspect my insurance company would have something to say if I was rear ended.

It a great rack and doesn’t rattle once the bike is on the rack
Never thought about a board or taking the wheels off , probably would have room in the boot after my pads and stuff

Yes it is a bird automotive rack , great bit of kit and I would highly recommend them but as you all say not cheep but with the e89 your options are quite limited
