Few Questions

Hey Chaps

Wondering whether you could help me on a few things;

Black Grills for E89 - Where do you guys get these from? Asking for a friend as luckily mine already has them but he's had bad luck with the two he has brought. They're cheap and fall out!

E89 35is Key Battery Fob - I've started having the error message telling me my battery on my key fob is running out, how do i charge this? or do i need a new battery? I have keyless entry so i always keep my keys in my project, if i put this into the little dock in the dash will it charge?

Lastly, and more excitingly - I'm thinking of doing the North Coast 500 this summer, has anyone done this before and if so have any recommendations or links to great guides to help me plan?

Thanks in advance :)

I painted my black silver. So could paint silver....black.

Something else i did was to spray with gloss black paint the two lower mesh grilles and the bit in the centre. The plastic seems to go a mucky grey and always looked dirty. Not now they are gloss black they always look clean.

The battery in the fob for keyless entry is non-rechargeable and will need to be replaced.
The back comes off the fob and I think it is a 2032 battery that is needed.

Bugger! Looking at going in May possibly. I used to work away on the lorries all over Europe and a bit further afield, Italy was always a barrel of laughs with all the rice fields but a mozzie burner kept most out of the truck at night :thumbsup:

You may be OK in May - I did a similar trip some years ago in May and we didn't have a problem with them. Mind you it could have been a bit warmer - Mrs Tidy had to buy a hoody on our 4th day! :lol:

You cannot plan a visit to Scotland and expect good weather. You just have to hope.
