Hello,
I was wondering if anybody has fitted iridium spark plugs in an e89 s23i 2009 ? I like the look of NGK laser iridium ILZFR6D11 but they do not seem to be listed as compatible for s23i. The ebay shop assistant tells me they are fine so not sure. Any other recommendations for a good spark plug with long life ? I have seen some pictures of DENSO and BOSCH breaking apart. Thanks,

I pulled my standard plugs at 50k, but i think they would have lasted much longer, but it did seem to run better with new plugs. If you do replace plugs always do a side by side comparison of the length.

Odd, my 35i went for it's 4 year service last November and Sytner put new plugs in as part of the 5 year service plan. The car has done 13,800 miles.
Hard to believe they needed changing? Do they rot whilst the car takes a nap in the garage?
(Sorry OP, slight digression)
