Looking at changing my battery on my 23I E89 as its not holding its charge as well as I like, anyone got any advice on the best type of battery to fit and also is it just a case of disconnecting and refitting the new one or does its screw up all the settings etc??

Worm can about to open :P yes you do need to code no you don't need to code
I needed a new battery on my 23i E89 , didn't code it , simply swapped over no issues , i do believe yo need to get the exact same strength though & not be tempted to go bigger or smaller
Here's the place ive used many times before , just give them a call https://www.tayna.co.uk/?gclid=CjwKCAiA ... -sQAvD_BwE

Just ordered a replacement battery from Tanya batteries, looking at fitting it myself over the weekend.

Is there a radio code which will need resetting on th professional stereo? Or anything else I need to know before I proceed.

Hi, you might need to carry out a window reteach for the one touch operation, Iā€™m not sure about the radio code though? :?
