That really looks like do as little as possible and polish it.

6 plugs, 3 filters, some oil and a poxy video, doesn't look like value for money.
Do they even plug it into a diagnostics terminal?

Basically charging about 2-3x for all the parts (the whole thing should be less than 1 hr labour)... but if we want the stamp from the main dealer we have to bend over and take it like a man! :o

...depends if they have ever been to prison! Which is where Sytner ought to be with those prices.

Did you request the £49 “vehicle check video”? I’d be asking for that to be taken off unless I’d asked for it :x

That does sound like a bit of a con - I thought they were complimentary? (And not just about the vehicle  )

Unless the car is in manufacturers warranty ( not the one you pay for ) i see no logical reason why you would pay through the nose for routine tasks predominantly carried out by the more inept of the dealerships workforce
Almost £40 for a air filter  if that's not a typo shoot me now

That reference to the video made me smile.

My E91 went to Sytner last week for the heater fan recall job, but I haven't had the video yet - should I ask for a refund?

lol! The classic vehicle check where you pay them to find faults for which they then charge you even more money

Lol - I just paid almost exactly that amount for an aftermarket air filter from a parts store, I shudder to think what the local BMW dealer would ask for the OEM part  .
I agree that I don't understand this obsession with dealer stamps (after the warranty period). Surely as long as you have the invoice from a good indy to show the service was done (and don't most of them have a stamp they can put in the book as well?) anything more is throwing money away?

I paid £10 for a Bosch air filter that took me less than 5 minutes to fit, £36 is criminal.

Now come on, fellas, be fair. The service included coffee and biscuits.

And it's for my BMW extended warranty.
