Hey all,

Looking to get back in to Z4 ownership in a 35is, for a good specification car with less than say 45k miles what would you say the going market rate is realistically?

Thanks!

Depends how old. You can get a pre 09 35IS with that sort of milage for 15-17k but a 63 might be 23-25k.

The main difficulty is finding a good spec car most of the 35IS were upsells for 23 owners and most have pretty bare bones spec outside what you get as standard with the 35IS.

Thanks, I am happy with a 2010 car and want a car with Idrive if possible. I know these cars come with quite a few options ticked from the factory as is.

There is a lovely 35is for sale on the forum but at 70k and £15.5k think hes being pretty optimistic. Seems like hes had almost 0 interest not even a reply. I was interested in an almost identical car with 40k and negotiated to 13.5k about 12 months ago. It also had a couple of issues with a rough idle miss fire with the injectors needing to be sorted. We couldn't get a date that suited both parties and with the issue decided to let it go. I would say that car is probably a decent deal at 13-14k considering the mileage.

There are certainly deals to be had with the market looking to be slumping, with the new model on the horizon there may well be a few more for sale

I saw you were after a Valencia Orange? I think they were only available on the facelift models 2013 onward with the pure traction pack.

Yes I agree regarding the price being optimistic. 1 Year ago my 35is with 40k miles on sold for abit more than that. £15k for a 40k 35is is a decent deal for sure.

My preference is valencia orange or even the yellow but that seems super rare! If these colours are not available as long as the interior is not black im happy!

Thanks for the help :)

FWIW I paid 23k for a 64 reg 35iS with 32k on it. Valencia Orange and pretty good spec, the 35iS is more than good enough standard tbh.
I reckon anywhere from 20-23 is about right, spec / colour / condition / location dependant .
Pure Traction 35iS - Sold!
Carbon Black E86 3.0si Coupe - Gone but not forgotten

Only just saw this after I saw Sunnydays post in the buy and sell forum!

Cheers for the feedback on price on mine, I’m open to it! And cheers for calling it ‘lovely’! :) I’m kind of torn between letting it go for less now or hanging on until spring, but will see what comes along. I’m open to offers on the price, I put it higher end due to the spec and condition but appreciate mileage isn’t low!

I’ve PM’d Sunnydays so will see what he says, I think if someone was to view they’d be pretty taken by it but only had a few enquiries so far!

There is a duplicate thread but I started a new one as had picture issues hence no replies.... viewtopic.php?f=41&t=108282
