Would need more detail, either the 16" wheel style or offset and widthMilsh wrote: ↑Sun Oct 21, 2018 10:25 am Sorry, Im after a little bit of advise from someone who's more clued up than me, this has probably been asked countless times..I have tried looking at previous posts but there's way too much info to wade through in my limited time online..

And your Z4, which model is it? The low power outputs will have smaller brakes, but larger and 16" won't clear the calipers

Newby wheels question.
Hi Phil. My car is a 2.0i m sport
The wheels on ebay are this type. the tyres are 205 width as opposed to 225 front and 255 rear i currently have fitted.. Im figuring the narrower you go the better through snow.

The answer is no on at least two counts , on the E89 SERIES the smallest permitted wheel size was 17”...Milsh wrote: ↑Sun Oct 21, 2018 10:25 am Sorry, Im after a little bit of advise from someone who's more clued up than me, this has probably been asked countless times..I have tried looking at previous posts but there's way too much info to wade through in my limited time online..

Secondly it’s undersize width wise so illegal from construction refs and invalidates insurance ..
Apart from that fine...

I've got a set of 17" wheels I might part with if you're interested. Just taken them off my car. They are 290 style wheels. I have given a friend a loan of them for a few weeks till he gets his refurbed. Let me know if you would be interested.

Cheers for the reply's peeps, I got an immaculate set of genuine 17" Z4 wheels with winter tyres for just under £300 inc delivery, from ebay last night, ( one of the advantages of being on nightshift, with no bosses around. haha) They are being delivered from Glasgow and should be arriving on friday.
Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated.
