I know il get stick for this but i have just bought some part worn winter tyres from ebay, no repairs etc, 5mm of tread.
Anyway they are non run flat Pirelli Sottozero. At the moment i have the standard Run Flats
I got 255 35 19 rears and 235 35 19 fronts. Has anyone experienced these tyres?
I thought id get then as i use my Z for an hours commute every day and i dont fancy missing work because of a bit of frost or an inch of snow.
I also think at the first sign of snow the price of these tyres will double

Winter Tyres
What year / tread pattern sotto ? early ones i found treacherous on warm damp roads but my sister runs the newer ones all year round on her Bmw 320d & rates them ( she does rag the car over the backroads too )
You should notice a rise in comfort though as the tyre sizes suit 8.5j & 9.5j better than your 8j 9j ( if on stock OE 19s)
