Well train booked.
Off to collect the 30i next Monday.
Loved my 2yrs with the e85, but time for a new adventure.
First train ride in years😳
Thanks to everyone for the advice.
Look forward to enjoying many more miles in the new one.

Yes indeed.
Had a short drive in one on Sunday, and was impressed.
But the drive back after collection should give a better idea😀

I had a train ride from West Mids to Portsmouth to pick up my car.
A five hour journey costing £70.
Two hour fifteen drive back in torrential rain.
You will never get people to abandon their cars in favour of trains.

Great news OP.

Just hope the days don't drag too much!

I think you'll enjoy giving the 3 litre a work-out on the way home. :driving:

I always like a decent drive home when I collect a new car - I went from Berkshire to Rugby for my Z4! Just a shame it rained all the way, and was dark for most of the trip.
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

I’ll also be driving home in the dark, but I’m sure it’ll still be fun.

In that case I hope it stays dry for you. :)

Sorry if this throws a spanner in the works, but are you sure you want the 30i?

Nothing wrong with the engine, but the turbo'd cars have lower tax, lower fuel consumption and are quicker.
The 4 cylinder turbo engine are all the same (18i 20i 28i) and call all make 270hp with a single remap.

I posted this table to another thread yesterday, might be useful for you too.

Cheers Rob will do
He’s had one replaced recently at a cost of about 500
So will check the other, and then be ditching the run flats.
People don’t know the problem run flats cause😳

That should help, although I still had one crack after changing the tyres over to normal ones
