Exhaust opinions needed
Hey,
So I have a 20i currently with a mid box delete. After some lucky browsing online I managed to find a 35is diffuser online for not that much money... now it's arrived and itching to be put on my car. Question is what exhaust option do I go for? I was looking at getting an BMW 35i exhaust but they are expensive leaving with the below in mind:
1) keep the mid box delete and have a box box delete and tips
2) get the mid box put back in and get a back box delete n tips
3) keep mid box delete and ask for a custom back box.
Any other ideas? I'm open to them. Not sure about losing back pressure etc on the engine and even after hours of online searching I'm still confused...Any help will be greatly appriciated!

I’ll be watching this thread intently, got a 20i, wanting a nice subtle growl... nothing much and no droning.
@Himi- where are you based?

Hi, with a turbo engine you want as little back pressure as possible which is different to what’s wanted on a normally aspirated engine

You Rob... have given me a few more hours of online researching. That's good to know.
I'm worried about sound levels too. I do 18k miles a year minimum and am always meeting clients.

I did it, had no regrets.
But if you’re on a budget you’re probably better off going to a fabricators.
Good luck

So I went in today and spoke to one of the fabricators. We decided it was best to put my mid box back in and delete my backbox as it will A) the cheaper option and B) Be a brilliant noise without being OTT.
I'll upload the results... the tips are on the larger side but I felt the smaller tips looked abit lost.
I really do recommend the box delete.

Apart from anything else, the rear end looks balanced now (and better for deleting the 'Z4').
p.s. Sorry your aerial's broken, though.
