Closed I-drive screen

Hey there guys,

Is there a way to have the I drive screen closed but still be able to listen to radio or usb etc?

Press 'Options', turn the wheel one click right and press ... I think.

You can program one of the 8 push buttons.
Think go settings, look for close then hold the button a few seconds.
I set that on button 8 and 7 for night/day dimming mode.

I set my button 8 for night mode but it’s a toggle between day & night mode ie no need for button 7 for day time

I have button 8 for open/close and 7 for toggle night/day mode. And did have 6 for traffic map.
I see wot i rote not verry clear.

Hit the options button, and you have screen option that will close the screen and everything still works, the only trouble is everytime you change station etc it pops back up
