What do you guys use in the event of a punture, at my end puntures are pretty common
due to no small part of many sharp debri.

Thanks
Rats tails, used them many times with no issues.

If you get lots of punctures then I am led to believe that there are many brands of run-flats which do not handle as badly as the Bridgestones.
So maybe, in your position, you would be better to research that?
HQ of 'Norfolk Zed Rescue'.
Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

Rats tails, a compressor with built in torch, and a can of inflating goo for good measure, and an RAC membership.

Having just used the RAC for recovery of our 4x4 (also with no spare tyre), and spending 5 hours getting just 30 miles to home, I'm contemplating something different, but I only think the AA has their own fleet.. I now have bought a spare wheel for that one (but no good for the Z) :headbang:

Was with RAC for 30+ years never used them ...collected a puncture in the Volvo and couldn’t get the locking nut off so called them....and they couldn’t even quote me a time ...

Swapped to AA at next renewal two years ago...

Collected a major hole in the Zed front tyre from a 10mm bolt lying in the road..not rat tail solvable..called AA from middle of nowhere ..middle of Covid crisis ..32 minutes recovery trailer arrived...happy days..

Other people’s experiences may very...

I bought these and I went with

Fronts: Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 235/35 R19
Rears: Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 255/35 R19

SUPER comfy ride, and the tyres literally saved my life when I hit a huge puddle on the A1 at high speed. Tracked straight across the pond instead of spinning out.

Rob...no amount of rats would fix it...a number of minutae ... :tumbleweed:

I didn’t get a tyre warning sensor light up

By the time i smelt burning rubber and pulled up to see it was flattish then drove a further mile to get out of a dangerous bend situation I figured that recovery was the only option..

The hole was around 10mm in diameter with 20mm of damage around it..

It was a nice sunny afternoon and I limped to one of my local pubs..

Given I missed Sunday lunch I figured I’d have hours to kill after calling out for rescue...

I was gutted to see them turn up after only my first pint of scrumpy...had to cancel my lunch order.. :headbang:

Should have stuck with the RAC
