Maximum dimensions are one thing, but actually getting the items through the gap to reach the maximum dimensions may be a different matter.
Agree with this, trying it is the best option and you maybe presently surprised. I was when I managed to get all my dive kit and two cylinders in

You sure thats it all?
I dont see a dry suit or fins in there.
I think I would put the box in the middle with a cylinder on each side to take the pressure off the shelf as these have been broken before.

Dry suit? In the southwest here, wetsuit is easily enough :P fins went on top after this. Good shout on the tray though, will go alternate sides next time

I’d put the box in the middle rather than alternate sides, it won’t touch the roof protector at all that way

Up that's what i meant, alternate sides was for the cylinders. But one each side would have been easier to say

Lucky you. Most of my diving was in the west coast of Scotland in the sea lochs or the firth of clyde.
Couldnt really do it without a dry suit as the average temp was only about 7 or 8 degrees.

To be fair, it was 12 degrees this week and that is starting to get a bit chilly in a 7mm after 50 minutes, even with my added insulation 8)

Slight hijack....is that one of those battery powered LED lights with a motion sensor stuck to the rear of the seat bit (or whatever the proper name is)?

If it is, its a blimin good idea, that I might have to pinch! If it isn't, then its given me an idea to get decent light in the boot!

Yes it is, just battery powered but makes a big difference to visibility at night

I get a full golf bag and trolley in no bother. The boot is deceptively big!
