Asked a question about whether to keep my 295s or change for bigger wheels. Thanks to everyone who made suggestions. One of the suggestion was 230s by ‘Heavymetalthunder’ ‘Mr Wilks’,as usual, was a mine of information and pointed me in the direction of some excellent wheels which I have now bought. They arrived this morning and are now on the car.
I am really pleased with them.
So thanks again to the Forum and it’s very knowledgeable members.

Not blowing smoke over them :D they do look so right on the car Ian , kept the Oe stock appearance yet subtly upgraded to enhance the looks 8) additionally the increase in tyre profiles has also done you no harm whatsoever , dare i say you may not be the last to go for the 230s on E89

( worth checking your cars speedo against a TomTom or similar to gauge where its at , most likely more accurate now as opposed to overreading  )

Thanks Andy. I ‘m really pleased with them. They arrived very quickly too. I have a TomTom so will check the speedo as you suggest.
Cheers and thanks for all your help.

I had those on my E85. Great wheels, they don't crack, they look fabulous and are very easy to clean

Not a bad idea Andy. But we are already going to Borrowdale because we can take the dogs. So it will have to be in the 330d.
