3 years living with my 3.5iS
Had my first MOT in April and the car is just about to knock up 32,000 miles! I love the car now as much as I did when I first purchased it new. Right now from a personal point of view I’m not loving the new variant of the Z4 and so for the first time in a long, long time I’ve decided I want to keep it. It is the first car ever I wanted to hang on to.
Although I rarely post or comment on the forum I do regularly read the majority of the posts and would like to thank all of you on this forum who have contributed and in turn helped me through my 3 year plus journey with what is a beautifully crafted car IMHO.
Thanks one n all
Steve

That’s a really positive post, I’ve only had a month with mine and every day I notice new qualities... last weekend I did about 1300 miles and got out the car without an ache, averaged 31.7 mpg and had bit off fun on somewhat tedious roads.

Yes I also agree about the comfort and the best mpg I have had is 33 mpg driving from Southampton on the M3, round the M25 and up the M1 home, admittedly there was a person with a red flag in front on me!

Always good to hear a long term review, I'm guessing there are bargains to be had in the E89 market once the new Z4 hits the showrooms so its good to hear such a positive experience

The 35is is a fantastic car. You should check out MHD at some point, it totally transforms the car. Although I will warn you, once you try it, you will be hooked!

It’s an Android app that lets you install performance maps into your car

I'll try and get some pictures of it this weekend after a clean. It's still all original except for an altercation with a pothole and one buckled rear wheel! Resulting in a £1000 bill, luckily BMW 0% finance on stuff like that

They *really* crash down the potholes with the 19" and run flats.
