Has anyone tried one of these for lugging bags / space saver tyres around... or anything similar / better??

I'm guessing the answer is no! Wouldn't be keen on risking stressing the boot mechanism.. and you can get enough stuff in your boot for 2 for most journeys!

My worry would probably be the high level brake light part, its not held on by many screws.

The paintwork will show evidence of the pads!

So another NO from me

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

The aesthetic is the least of your worries, affixing anything to the folding roof mechanism is. The boot lid is not a fixed object. There is a specific warning in the user manual.
