Tyres Pressures full up and touring
We are off on Wednesday 10 days around off to Black Forest and a few places on the way and back .
2 adults, all you can fit in the boot and still get the roof down. About 1600 miles planned .
What do I run the tyres at they are regular non tyres . NOT RUNFLATS
I think I am usually 36 front 38 rear , would you go up ?
Thanks

I run 34f 36r, so lower than you run already. I tried higher pressures but the car felt unstable & wandered about on the motorwayDavidcliff wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 2:38 pm We are off on Wednesday 10 days around off to Black Forest and a few places on the way and back .

Never found there was any need, handling was the same regardless of additional bags in my E85, so sure your E89 can’t be that different - some cars strangely have the same pressures irrespective of load eg the wife’s XC60, others like my C300h need an extra 12psi... go figure that

I run 36/38 on non runflats like yourself. Did 1k around France last year with my wife and boot fully loaded and all was good

I was just about to ask the same question. Im currently running 30 Front 32 Rear (19's Non RF) which sounds like it may be a bit too low? Im trying to find a good balance for our wonderful pot hole covered, uneven roads

I did initially, but it felt like it was skating on the road rather than gripping to it.

It doesn't, but it's the first place to start discussing variables.

You say "initially". Was this on new tyres? Had you just moved from runflats?
