In the 911? Only when the weight's controlled by AWD.

The N54 6 pot isn't without its problems. I've had 6 new injectors (each at £150+), a new cam cover (£160), and the Turbo wastegate flap fix (£400).

All very common issues.

I was involved in accident investigation in the late 1970s...several of the fatalities investigated were rich men in 911s :poke:

No need for the :poke:
I had a 911 for 5 years and know how dangerous they can be, with or without AWD. :)

You have my sympathy, Rob. Mine - on Pirelli P Zero Rosso that were good for just 8k miles - only let go twice, but a tree wasn't involved.

Actually, I was in it, having given a friend a lift to collect his 993 from being detailed. He hadn't driven his for a while and to prove that, scared himself - and me, following him - witless by putting his tail-end into a ditch. He has it on SORN now.

Had BCR co ilovers and h+r sway bars all done together. Whole car felt much sharper and less roll. BCR had adjustable damping so could make them softer for road and harder for track :)

Also tyres (correct pressures) and spacers helped :)
