New to me 35is

Well traded in my TVR tuscan today and the drive to the car sales place was enjoyable but a bit sad. But I picked up my grey 35is and took the long way home. Its a 2012 space grey metallic with Red and black leather, I believe its the full leather option because the dash etc is covered in hide. It has Nav and Dab and to my surprise I think it has professional speaker system as there are 14 speakers I think. Sounds good and loud anyway. The car drives great and is very civilised and a nice place to be, not super fast but fast enough to make progress. I only had it in comfort mode so I've yet to truly push on with any vigour.
a couple of questions to you good people...
Is it not possible to enter full post codes in the nav as mine only lets me put in the first part of the code then jumps to a list of streets...
How do I turn up the volume of telephone calls? I could hardly hear my other half when she phoned me over the BT (sometimes this would be a good thing)
My roof goes down with the key fob but I don't think it goes up (I just tried holding down the lock button)
Any help would be great...cheers.

Top job Hunter, congrats!

The key won’t close the roof without a gaptech or similar. I ‘think’ the radio volume is the phone volume too.

Can’t off the top of my head remember how to enter full post codes, someone will be along who still has an E89.

Oh and surely you know by know mucker.... :worthless:

I think the postcode thing might be an update needed for the nav software.

Sorry no I don't, I was looking at it on trader and was thinking not a bad price and nearly went to have a look, I'm thinking of swapping my 3.0i E85 for one.

Put it in Sport+S, use the gear stick or the paddles to keep it above 4k revs and you'll see how quick it is.

This assumes that, if it was on them, you've binned the runflats, of course. :)

Im still on the Run flats...only had the car a couple of hours lol....Im sure it is quick in the scheme of things..but I've just come from a under 4 seconds 0-60 car that did 60 in first and 100 in second and would spin the tyres at 100...but I'm not looking for that, I'm looking for a classy, comfortable fun car thats reliable and still can make me smile..I think I've found that in the 35iS. Ticks all the boxes for me. I do long drives so as a sporting handsome GT I think its Class .

I take it you have idrive? to turn up the volume, you just need to adjust the main volume button when you are using it, e.g. when sat nav speaks turn it up or down as the voice speaks directions, doesn't affect the main volume, just the one you are using, and it remembers it at what you last set it
Z4 Mineral Grey, 28i MSport Auto, lots of goodies
Z4 E85 3.0, gone but now with son :D
