My cars mashed

Post by Smartbear » Tue Jul 31, 2018 5:22 pm

I drove it off the railway sleeper today and it’s not as bad as I feared, I don’t know how but the front bumper seems to be virtually unscathed :o
Needs a rear bumper & boot lid repair, new rear light and some small bits&bobs, after speaking to my insurance co they’ve kindly agreed to waver my excess charge.

I would have been incandescent if my prize false acacia had been damaged, luckily it’s still in rude health :P

Sorry to see this Rob. You wouldn't think in a million years that could happen with your car so far from the road. Hope you get it all sorted and shiny again soon

Ta, I live at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and have a pretty sizeable driveway-I still can’t believe the low life vermin hit my car. Smartbear towers feels sullied somehow :x

This is what the oxygen thief navigated in order to smash my motor up, looking up from the end you can barely see the road!

Exactly this ^^ police were chasing the scumbag who jumped from the car & legged it leaving his car careering down my drive & into the zed, it’s pushed it around 10ft into and over a railway sleeper at the end :o
Rob
No shortage of witnesses then. Was the handbrake off? Hopefully the damage is just the bumper and tracking.

On the bright side moving house will at least mean you can put this one behind you too Rob. :(

Handbrake on, leaving long trails in the gravel-at least it didn’t hit anything solid in front

Did the sleeper take any of the weight, or do you think the underneath is undamaged?
