New Foot Pedals

Post by JamiesZ4 » Tue Jul 10, 2018 11:13 am

Inspired by Steve Smith's mods to his Z4, I've started to carry out some changes on my own car, so first up new foot pedals fitted!

I've also had a good go of cleaning up the engine bay as it was pretty grubby.

Next up will be debadging the sides and rear boot panel and sorting out the calipers, and disc bells as well as looking at hub spacers for the rear wheels.

Where did you get the foot pedals from please? Are they just press on?

Thanks Guys!

Yes so slide on rather than drill holes into your existing pedals. The accelerator pedal just slides on top of the existing pedal. The brake pedal, you need to remove your existing rubber pedal cover (fairly easy mine just pried away from the pedal lever) and then you can place the new pedal cover onto the brake pedal.

Looks good, but wait until you try to use them with wet shoes.

The rubber inserts protrude above the brushed aluminium so hopefully 'no slippery when wet' moments :D

Look great! They’ll be a lot grippier than standard 👍🏼

Actually looks good,

I was wanting to get the genuine ones for My 35iS, Somehow BMW Parts told me I couldn't get them for my car even though I checked via the eBay BMW Parts via My VIN Number and says It's compatible!

Has anyone Fitted the OEM Pedal set to their car with Photo's Video on how they did it?
