Just ordered a GruppeM induction kit for my 35iS. Should take 4 weeks. I’ll post some photos and give my opinion on quality and performance then. :D

£1750 - a pinch!? However - certainly an improvement on the disaster I inherited from Will Gill - the previous owner who thought it was a good idea to rest two unsecured filters on top of the exhaust manifold! That’ll be hot air induction - idiot !

Direct from Japan wanted £1500 & then you’ve got import duty and vat. Roy from CA was advertising at £2k but gave me 15%. Couldn’t see where else to buy anywhere near that. What do you know that I don’t?

Myself & a few others have recently bought direct from Gruppe ( Hoya is the email contact ) ok ours were for ZMs not 35s but a lump under half the above with duty & delivery
Any pics of it ?
Finish is 1st class & they do create a wondrous noise  but i won't lie , you open the box & wonder where the money is in them

Yep - I took your advice and spoke to Mr.Hoya. His price was 200300JPY. I questioned it but that was his price. That did not include duty and vat. I felt more comfortable buying from Roy in the UK as if there were any problems, I have a relatively local place to take any grievances to and it was only a few hundred pounds more to do this. I mainly want to tidy up the engine bay and get some cold air rather than hot air sucked into the engine. I’ll post some pics of before and after when it arrives.
I previously had an E86 MC and am familiar with the GruppeM intake for that. There’s quite a bit more carbon with the 35iS, so I guess that’s an excuse to charge more?
