BBS 19" Wheel fitment

Post by Steve S » Sat Jun 16, 2018 1:54 am

I currently have a an E89 35i on standard 19" alloys and was hoping somebody with wheel swapping experience could let me know if the BBS wheels described below would fit without causing clearance issues or any other problems.
Genuine BBS CSL wheels 8 1/2 x 19 and 9 1/2 x 19 with 235/35 front and 265/30 Toyo R888 rear tyres.

You'll need to know the offsets which I can't see in your post. :)
Current - F31 330i & SLK 350
Previous - E89 35is
Previous E86 3.0si

Thanks NeilMick, I've calculated the offset of these new wheels to be 57mm front on the fronts and 35mm on the rears.

Specs should be 8.5j et 44 front / 9.5j et 27 rear for genuine 19inch BBS csl wheels & on those numbers they will fit E89 to perfection
The actual numbers will be stamped on rear along with BBS

Lovely looking wheels. In case you are not aware, R888 are basically semi-slick track day tyres so if it’s anything other than a dry summer day toy car then they will not be ideal and will also be very unforgiving.
