I've two questions:
1. Does 135i/335i n54 downpipes fit on Z4?
2. How's the smell & drone with downpipes installed and secondary cats in-place?

I don't know if the 135i down pipes will fit the z4, i think there are a few differences however with regards to sound and drone. You won't get drone from down pipes. It will sound slightly different though....BUT it's in a good way! you will hear turbo noises which I personally love!

No smell difference, you'll need specific 35i/s downpipes. Yes they do drone on the Motorway above 80mph in top gear, thats ok for a hour journey, not so good for a 5 hour journey. To avoid the drone, you'll need to stay 75-80 mph or else boot it through the lower gears and take your chances with the law...
