Yup. That is the base amount plus destination charges for the Sdrive30i as listed on the bmwusa Z4 configurator.
The Sdrive35i starts at $52,475.
But add in a few goodies and it's not too hard to exceed $63K.

Is sDrive23i available in US? The equipment differences between 23i and 30i are Auto-dimming Rear Mirror, Rain Sensor and Kansas Leather Upholstery in UK. OTR price is £28,645 for 23i.
To get my car with options I want, even 23i will cost me £33k.

The US gets the sDrive30i starting at $45,750 and the sDrive35i starting at $51,650. As far as I can tell, the biggest difference (give or take a few standard features) is that the sDrive30i has the 255 HP engine vs. 300 HP turbo engine. That's a lot of coin for 45 HP!
If I spec out an sDrive30i to be roughly equivalent to my 3.0si, it prices out at $53,850. It's too early to know what the actual 'out the door' prices are going to be, but that's $12,000 more than I paid for my 3.0si. So unless there are some mighty big discounts/incentives, you are going to end up paying a whole lot more for an 'equivalent' car.

Well chaps know you now how it feels to be buying in the UK! Ripoff, with no justification for the skyrocketed prices (albeit atleast thats a new model)!
P.s. dont get me started on petrol prices. That said I do hear you guys are catching up!
