After all the shi*e weather of late I enjoyed a few work trips out in the 35is this week. I've still only done about 1600 miles in it since I bought it in January such has been the weather.
From my home in Nottingham I did:
Tuesday> Cambridge --- roof down for round trip
Wednesday > Coventry -- roof down for round trip
Friday > Sheffield --- roof down way home
The car is spectacular and just purrs along, nothing phases it at all. I averaged 27.6 mpg which is pretty good for such performance.
A wonderful car in every way and not a squeak or rattle to be heard. I love it and she is a keeper for sure.
One thing I had to do because of petrol availability is fill it with Standard 95RON as I have always used 98 in it and I was a tad nervous about doing this. However, I could not tell any difference at all and the temperature gauge was the same with both fuel types. I filled it up again last night with 98 but again, really cannot detect any difference.

Yep, the 35iS is a good car.
I've done 22,000 non-commuting miles in mine in 17 months and enjoyed every one.
In fact, I might have enjoyed them a bit more than you, because my mpg's 25.7.
