Has anyone seen or used one of these?

Looks like a nifty gadget, especially for Z4s over the winter!

Good price too, only £13.

There is one with a socket on too for £17.

Presumably they can be left connected to the battery?

Think it will only work when connected to a compatable battery tender.

Would it not give an indication even when not connected to a tender though? :?

I think its a socket for plugging in a battery conditioner/
Charger.

I believe these do show charge status even when the charger is not in use though, reading some of the reviews from other retailers.
