Exhaust Flap Mod - Cap size?

It’s not very noticeable I wouldn’t worry about switching it. It’s not like trundling around town is suddenly offensive, it’s more of a very slight rumble at idle and more chance or a low rev pop or 2 on a slow downshift.

Exhaust Flap Mod - Cap size?

I did this with mine when the flap started to get the rattle. I pulled off the pipe, wrapped a piece of duct tape over the nozzle and then replaced the pipe back into the nozzle. It works like a dream. The pipe looks no different should anyone look at it and the flap remains wide open at all times. Much easier than finding golf tees or caps to block the fittings.

I much prefer the sound with it open but not so sure about my neighbours. I am considerate when I leave for work at 6am but it's still quite a growler even at low speeds. Love it!
