Have you ditched the rear camera then?

I have the mini 0801 and was tempted to replace it with the 0906.
The 0801 was cheap and is still going but I would like a rear mounted camera as well.

Technically, any object is a target for tea-leaves!
When I had a TomTom Satnav I would never leave it mounted when leaving the car, but it hasn't concerned me with my dash cam. Mine is quite discrete though, and stuck onto the screen, not one of the ones with the suction type mounts.
I spent a lot of time on a dash cam forum and never read anything about thefts.

Ive got that one in my 535 and it works great. I agree though, a bit large and ugly for the Z.Twin Turbo wrote: ↑Mon May 07, 2018 6:36 pm Well, I purchased the wife a Nextbase 512 -and not impressed, looks ugly and quality is not that great.
However, I really rate my thinkware; https://www.spesa.co.uk/products/thinkw ... RcQAvD_BwE

I've just bought this one

My main requirement was for something small that had no screen, decent quality and wifi so I can view the videos on my phone.

Here's my install of my SG9665GC https://www.hiniko.com/index.php?route= ... 59_105_179 using black vinyl on the glass, then the camera mount stuck behind that.
In real life it is very stealth because people are used to seeing the "black" section on windscreens, so don't take much notice of the "extended" bit, and don't notice the camera poking out from underneath.
The shade of black of the vinyl isn't an "exact" match to the factory bit, but its not as "obvious" as it looks in some of these pictures.
The camera is hard-wired and the gps module is top left of the windscreen, on another bit of vinyl.
I can't see the camera from drivers position and although fully visible to the passenger, nobody has ever actually commented on it.
