Does anyone use license plate holders?

Found these on Amazon, any thoughts?

I have holders.
One issue to be aware of is the curve of the front bumper mounting.

Probably fine with plastic plates but I have metal ones

Looks messy and cheap like something a car sales dealer would use to stick an advert in or company name.
I had some stainless and plastic chromed ones, but they also looked boy racer and cheap.
Also someone could nick your plate.

I have these, better made than most. I've tried a few! I'm thinking of going static though so they may not be on for too long.

Seems like it makes it very easy for someone to nick your plates...

Yeah, extremely easy to steal the number plate from these, but is that a concern?

....thinking about it I guess it is, they could steal the cars identity and then i'd get speeding tickets etc.

Are the sticky pads good? Do they hold on the slight curve of front bumper?
