hi trying to update navigation maps,on may 2009 registered z4 e89 cic system,have (ebay) 2018 update start car plug in usb stick waited but nothing happens any thoughts ?.

Is the USB stick in the correct slot. Im sure it must be done from the one in the glove box.

The 2009 model was only updatable by DVD so unless the software has already been updated, you'll need to get it done.
