Bad timing there Rob.
Whenever I wash a car it generally rains the next day - but never snow (yet)!
Mind you my tactic of fitting winter tyres to avoid snow has failed this winter - although it worked for the previous 3!

I used Michelin cross climate tyres last winter, but we never had any terrible weather really-I think they’re a good option because their operating range of temperature is wider than a strictly winter tyre

I picked my car up from Hook on the Saturday of the "mini beast from the east" and the next day it was covered in snow.

I remember that snowy blast! After working in such appalling conditions I thought that’s it, I’m off! Robihadablackdog wrote: ↑Sun Aug 26, 2018 8:04 pm I picked my car up from Hook on the Saturday of the "mini beast from the east" and the next day it was covered in snow.
