I've just bought a new badge/roundel for the steering wheel as mine was looking a little tired.
I went with silver/black carbon as the car is seal grey.

Now I'd like to swap the bonnet and boot badges but struggling to find any of the correct size, has anyone done this before and managed to find badges the correct size?

E85 or E89?

I think the E85 ones are pretty standard across the BMW range so easy to find.
E89 seems to be oddball sizes.

I didn't swap mine out per say. I got them from ebay think it was a standard set of boot bonnet wheels and steering wheel, and a couple of 72mm ones for the sides. I simply used a hot air gun to heat the new ones a little and pulled the metal bits off the plastic and stuck them over my existing roundels the one on the bonnet it a little big and cover slightly more than the original one but its hard to tell unless you look hard.
