Lighter colours, silvers etc show the detail, curves etc of the body far better than flat colours, Black - White etc.
You could always buy the brown car (there I said it) and get it wrapped??
Just a thought..

Well thanks for all the views - certainly stirred up some entertaining responses :) on reflection whilst it fulfills all my other desired criteria and clearly looks stunning it would be a mistake to settle for a fundamental difference in colour .

Search will continue - hopefully I will find one not 500 miles away

You wanted a red one. That's what your heart wanted. Stick with a red one.

If you like it buy it, I had a dilemma over a savannah red Z4, in the sunlight looked like burnt orange in the shade very red, I asked my wife and off springs opinion, as I was umming and arring and the comments came back "well, if you like it" etc, ended up buying a mineral grey which I love
Z4 Mineral Grey, 28i MSport Auto, lots of goodies
Z4 E85 3.0, gone but now with son :D

Just remembered another reason i chose this colour was that i had a space grey MGTF and a small child ran out into the side of my car, she didn't see my car. So only light or bright colours for me. She was lucky it wasn't square on to the front and i was travelling at slow speed.
Still shocking experience when a little girl crying her eyes out and me sat in back of Police car being questioned on something you have no control over.
