I live at 3,000 feet in the mountains of western Maryland, and we've had snow in early October several times with nighttime temps routinely in the 30's. I change tires based on temps, not the calendar.
If your using deg F no one apart from you guys in the US and I believe Burma will know what your talking about. I had to find a conversion table online. Sounds like you live in a very beautiful place up in the mountains there.

Yes, I love living in the high country. It's a little tougher, but quieter and MUCH less stress than the city - good place to retire to!

Now, as far as the whole Fahrenheit / centigrade thing....
I'll tell you what. .... You guys learn to drive on the right side of the road, and we'll learn to count by 10s!

Woke up to 10" of new snow! This is why I share my garage with a Jeep! And why it will be April before the warm tires go on!

I drive bilingually, kms at home and miles down south, it's easy. But as much as I am a Brit, I still cannot understand the insistence in the UK of using the approximate weight of a big rock somewhere on the banks of the Thames as a unit of measure.
"what do you weigh?"
answer: "12 stone 3"
Really ? :?
Sold the Z4 M Roadster and a 911 Carrera S now I have a 2021 Z4 3.0i

I think only businesses and very young people use metric here, , a 2x4 is still a 2x4 piece of wood, my scale is in pounds, and I make the vet convert kilos to pounds when parker gets weighed. I'm such a rebel.
