It cost £500 and it's irreversible, as they basically bond a sheet of carbon weave to the pieces and then clear coat over the top which makes the parts a little thicker than before.

Also, I had to send all of the bits away which meant buttons hanging off wires for 6 weeks (the guy had a big backlog of work) - not a good look! Though the wait was worth it.

Mines got a kind of brown stuff on it? Don't know what its called but its ok!

Looks slightly lighter wood than mine.

Steering wheel is now in, think alcantara is the way forward.

Thank you! Not sure about carbon wrap anymore. If I do anything, I think it’ll be either piano black or alcantara.

Looks nice, except the edges are peeling away so it's not been wrapped properly. Otherwise it'd be a nice finish.

Next Question... after skinning /covering with the fake carbon , how tight were the fits putting it back together? Looks great BTW :thumbsup:

Thanks :thumbsup: Most bits were fine, it was only the centre console that was a bit of a pig to get back in.
