I can't find any piccys online of the OEM toolkit that is supplied with E89 or where it is stowed.
Manual just says stored under boot floor panel, but doesn't appear to be space, what with battery & electrical connections.
Found on fleabay a BMW toolkit for approx. £80, but not sure if this is correct item.
Any help or piccys would be appreciated.

Will try and get a pic later but mine lives in the cubby on the left hand side of the boot as you look in that opens when you release the twist retainer, thats also where my 1L Oil lives that goes everywhere with me ....

The important bits are the tow eye hook and the locking wheel nut key.
Interesting to know what people keep in there.
I have:
Tool roll with tow eye, screw driver, nut trim cap remover, plus spare nut trims. Got rid of the locking wheel nuts, don't need key.
Fluorescent bib.
Spare ignition coil and spark plug, plus Allen key to remove engine trim.
First aid kit.
Spare various interior trim fasteners and screws.
Fuses.
Half of my boot is filled with a space saver wheel, jack and brace.
Funny not needed that after it was bought after experiencing about two flat tyres a year. Going on two years flat free.
Bit like a parachute, hope i never need it, but nice to know it's there.

Mine was wedged next to the battery, i also have a compartment on the left which had a first aid kit in it
but as the Bear said there's not much in the way of tools in it, not sure the towing eye is much use on a car with DCT, unless its ok to tow it with it in neutral

Thanks very much for your help guys. I understood it was the 'Driver utility kit"-Part No. 82292151462, that came with the vehicle. I believe dealers & people remove them to sell separately? i found the cubby hole to the left, got a can of tyre sealant, tow eye & a couple of hi viz. But wasn't able to find tool kit in battery compartment, i'll give that another look

£80 seems expensive for not very much.
