I've always associated the quad pipe set up on Bmws with ///M cars :wink: I wouldn't do it on my own cars but I'm not saying it doesn't look good on that car above

Surely that speed is a hell of a strain on the roof motor vs. drag?

Its only 40kph & the way the e89 roof folds means it never presents a "parachute" type effect as an e85 roof would do :thumbsup:

When the boot lid is open it must have a fair bit of wind resistance, I would not risk it on mine.

Super old video and the cars were later rated to open and close up to 25mph. Never had an issue with mine at speed, boot cover is sturdy enough.

Engine tho, that’s a different matter. #Marzipan
