They’re the infamous 326’s, beware of the cracked rims!

They suffer more with the runflat tyres fitted, they’re rock hard and give the rims a hard time-check the inside rims

That's not thick. That's just excited. Enjoy collecting it tomorrow ... actually, today.

There's a fair weight of empirical evidence that points to 326's cracking - but it's not inevitable. Much depends on road surface conditions (pot holes) and how you drive (whether you find 'em). But of course you have no idea how the previous owner handled the car.

Had my 326's from new with OE run flats and removed them at 11,000 miles because I wanted a change of style.

They are uncracked. Fitting non run flat tyres will help and it does improve the ride quality.

Enjoy your car and don't automatically assume it's going to come with cracked wheels. :)

I love the 326’s, they look great!

I would personally recommend asking BMW to inspect each wheel and send you the video (they do this with any vehicle inspection anyway!).

My car came with 326’s and had just had 4 new Bridgestone runflats fitted when I bought it. I waited until the rears were worn and I replaced all 4 with higher profile non run flats. They didn’t report any cracks at this stage. When I went for its first MOT it failed on a cracked rear wheel.

Don’t let this ruin your collection, it’s a stunning car and you should enjoy it!

If the car has come from an official dealer it’s extremely unlikely it would be fitted with any other tyres than the standard fit runflats!

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

When I was going to trade in my E85 they would not accept it with the recently fitted non runflats. They were to reduce the offer price by £1k

Well, don't judge your (very good) car by its (poor) tyres or its beautiful (but prone to cracking) wheels. Both can be changed.

And don't forget - only 16,000mi. If that's it in the top photo it looks a beauty. Please post some more pics when you can
