Hi,

Just like to say farewell as I will be a new owner of a new M2, and collecting it this weekend.

Its been an interesting journey but probably come back in a couple of years with the new generation of Z car.

I have listed a few parts that I am selling if anyone is interested.

So I am unable to retain my title of having the fastest Z4 @ BMW Show 2018,

Good luck with the M2 mate, they are stunning cars.

My neighbour has one and when he puts his foot down it sounds amazing.....

Id love one but his was £47k.....bit more money than I want in a car.....

Did you get a good p/x for the 28i in the end? Or did you just say sod it and do the deal?

Well you did it in the end then! One thing for sure your not going to have to tune the M2 like you had to with the 4 pot Zed, that's going to satisfy you on the power no doubt.
Couple of months ago now since I let go of my Alpina for an M135i and although this one suits the Mrs better I still miss the Zed, it had more street appeal than this one even though it goes like a bat out of hell.
You will miss the Zed too I think but you will have lots of smiles in the M2.

Agree I my Z4 does get a lot of attention, and this M2 looks like an Q car - a bit of a sleeper. Planning some Carbon fiber mods - and see what I think after my first 1,000 miles about engine mods.

I must admit......thats the only thing that concerns me about z4 ownership......the fear of being miles from anywhere ......easily possible up here in Northern Scotland...... and the roof fails in an awkward position like that.....

Is there no way to get the roof back down manually? I take it there isn't otherwise you would have done so.

Dealers can do it with their equipment but not possible for the owner.
