I have a warped front disc so i'm gonna replace all four and i would like to replace with drilled grooved discs front and back
but can't find any it's for a e89 35i msport 2010 ,just want discs and pads not calipers

M tec do them for 6cylinder e89 models

Correct.....just ordered full set front and back from MTEC .......very helpful bunch ........call them.....02871861816 , they will send you a link to there website and you order there, and get 10 % discount ........they will coat them as well Silver , Black or Gold for £25 for 4 discs.

I wouldn't go for drilled, they can, and do suffer from cracking - Get yourself the grooved and dimpled M-Tec one's..

In all honesty I'd stick with BMW items. They're of good quality and the fronts have aluminium centres so will have a significant weight saving over mtec which to me is worth far more than the "look" gained from grooves, holes, dimples or whatever else they can attack the disc with :poke:

Are you wishing to replace them for the look or for better brakes. I spent a lot of time earlier this year researching drilled and grooved V standard smooth faced discs. From the info gained it appears that after market supplied D&G discs are prone to cracking and do use pads up quicker They can also be noisy. In the end I went for ATE discs (a BMW supplier) with new pads but did change the brake hoses to braided S/S which do provide a more sharper and progressive braking. This is just my opinion if you ask 10 different people you will probably get 10 different answers . You pays your money and makes your choice.

I tried drilled & grooved EBC discs on my MX5 and hated them. Noisy, not just when braking. Even just driving past anything like a wall or fence I could hear them. Sometimes braking was smooth but often I could feel it through the pedal, almost like ABS. it did nothing at all for braking performance or fade resistance.
This was on a 240bhp supercharged MX5 used hard on track as well as on the road.
They looked good but other than that I couldn’t recommend them at all. After that I just used the cheapest plain discs I could find with uprated pads. Much much cheaper, quieter with perfect braking performance.

Like I said I did a lot of research on D & G discs for E89 models whilst a lot of companies list them, when you enquire or check sizes they are not available for the E89, or only front discs are available. The only companies I found who could supply were Tarox (japanese sports brakes) I had a lot of contact with them ( the UK office) and whilst they listed them for E89 3.0i the sizes were incorrect which in the end they admitted but advised they could supply the correct dia for my car but at over twice the price as listed. The other company where Zimmerman who listed them and were the correct size but on reading various user reports I did not proceed. Bearing in mind mine is a 3.0i and your is a 35i there may be a difference in diameter so you may be luckier than me. But for my money stay with standard smooth plain discs .

Slotted only fella, any brake expert will tell you that drilled are often inferior to OEM. You can google for advice, loads on youtube etc. Drilled only sell because they are aesthetically pleasing.

Im sure theres a lot more to it than looks.
The discs will cool quicker if they are drilled for a start.
If there were no benefits manufacturers would only have solid discs on vehicles from the factory as drilled discs must cost more to produce.
Not just talking about cars here but most bikes have drilled discs.

Bike discs are a bit different, they are not vented, and are made of expensive carbon steel.
For race cars expensive drilled discs do service a purpose, it's actually to let the gas escape.
But cheap drilled discs are a waste of time in my opinion
