Seeing as so many people suffer from cracked wheels on their BM's (and apologies if this has been posted before)
Where is the best place to buy replacement after market rims?
Looking for advice and links to shops with good customer service, good value for money and as little BS as possible.
Is it best to buy online, at a specialist store or at a tyre fitters shop? what are your experiences?
How many splash the full wedge compared to interest free credit agreements?
Also what wheel manufacturers do you recommend? for build quality and bang for buck?

Hi, a good place to look is the “Mr Wilks” shop-you should be able to find his details on here.
He usually has something for everyone

I used the wheel traders. Absolutely exceptional service, no bs and gave me exactly what I wanted. Very clued up on alloys and will walk you through anything your not sure of.

rimstyle.com is a good choice
they will offer you the wheels that will fit your car + tyre packages
I've bought a few sets from them.

dumb question time...
What is the difference or benefit to having 'forged' wheels? as opposed to regular alloys? do they come with any particular benefit or hazard? other than cost that is.
Seen some of the Vossen rims out there, the price is insane but they are absolutely beautiful, almost works of art. (no sadly cant afford them)
Also, I am considering these:
http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/showroom/p ... ars-p-5103
But probably not from this dealer...
19" x 8.5" et35 front and 19" x 9.5" et33 or et42 rear with a pcd of 5x120.
What does 5x120 PCD mean?
Im guessing et35 etc... means the offset?

Hi, I understand forged wheels to be lighter & stronger than normal cast wheels because of the different construction process.
5x120 means 5 stud holes and a 120mm diameter central whole (I think)

It’s not the centre cap hole, it’s the hole that fits over the hub

I went with bbs genuine ch-r. Couldn't be happier.
But they seem to have gone up since I bought them, £1600+ a set with no tyres now.

Rim style for me too, I cant fault them.
Rimstyle also had no problem supplying single wheels, I have aready been back for one more since buying my set of four, now having bought an individual spare wheel for the inevitable day that I need to refurb. So now have a Brand New wheel boxed and ready to go as an exchange.

It can’t be that, 120mm? The bolt holes are much smaller than that measurement
